It's About Drive, it's About Power
SCREENSHOTS UPLOADED, UNREAL NOT FREAKING OUT ANYMORE
The player is part of a coup to assassinate the king. The king had previously beheaded your lover after raiding a village within the kingdom for hidden goods that had been stowed away there. Your lover was innocently killed and their corpse was displayed upon the village's entrance as a forewarning to not keep treasures hidden from the king. Distraught and filled with rage, you have joined a collection of people who have been planning the death of the king. You have been assigned to gaining intel from the previous king's underground networks, looking for documents, weapons, or anything of use. To gain access to this area, you find a discreet entrance within a bustling street inn, where the king would swipe away people from the street to interrogate and torture them.
Drives present (PICK ONE THAT IS THE STRONGEST):
- Romance
- Independence
- Order (MAIN)
- Bloodlust
- Vengeance (SECONDARY)
I want to use collectible documents to give more information about the storyline. I want to establish the order of the kingdom's government through this manner as well, though the game would express it through the exploration. I definitely need more environmental storytelling, so making the upstairs inn would greatly add to this (MAKE THIS MANAGEABLE). The documents can be read as long as the player wants, so the gameplay will vary based on the player.
We managed to add
- An inn for environmental storytelling
- A timer for the the floor boards to disappear
- Main drive addition--collectible documents (BP funky, in the works)
- Light cues for collectible items
