Getting Things Started


This is the start to the outdoor project for Game Design I, which will take the second half of the semester. 

I am basing this level off of the small town of Bassano del Grappa, Italy. In this town, I'd like the player to feel serene, but purposeful. The layout and aesthetic of the landscape should be peaceful and rolling, but the markers/points of interest still drive the character forward. Overall, I'd like the character to feel:

  • sense of wonder
  • purpose
  • sense of exploration
  • serenity

Next I would like to add...

  • Water plane into the river
  • More details on points of interest
