Preplanning (Ideas)


This is the official devlog pages for my Practicum III project at Wichita State University. The following are ideas to formulate what I want in my project, which is currently set to be a cinematic that blends into a level:

-player objective needs to make sense through cinematic

-historical (real or fake, some level of research I’d love)

-masked characters? human/humanoid

-humor

-level is puzzle format

-interact with items to solve, similar to Tomb Raider games *gather overhead level design of puzzle levels*

-what is the story conflict?

-grab audience attention in beginning with curiosity or action

-main character has heightened sense, like detail mode from Sherlock Holmes, Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider

-one character pessimistic, the other eager, both males around 30.  Eager one has heightened sense due to PTSD and is a little anxious because of it
